Power-folding mirror repair - Saab 9-5 +M06 Power-folding mirrors were an option on the 2006 and newer OG 9-5 (aka Dame Edna) cars for the US market. It is not uncommon for these units to "fail" over time, whereby one or both of the external door mirrors fails to fully close or open when requested via the dash button. Saab 9-5 2.0T '2004 My electrical mirrors does only work sideways but not up and down. I have tried replacing the switch without any luck. This problem applies to both mirrors. Try cracking into the electrical system for the mirrors and shorting out the switch to see if you get any response from the mirror.
